Stump Grinding

Whether you have a fallen tree or a leftover tree trunk which needs to be removed, the most effective way to do this is with a stump grinder. Our stump grinding machine is the best in the industry. It is perfect for hard to access areas. We only need an area of 66cm (26”) for our arborist to remove your tree root.

Our tracked stump grinder provides excellent stability. It is suitable for use on uneven construction sites and domestic gardens. We can access most terrain, even in hard-to-reach places.

OUR PROCESS

Step 1

The first step is to get in touch!

There a several ways:
Call our office and speak to one of our knowledgeable Arborists
Whatsapp, for those on the move, who want to get a speedy reply
Email, perfect for more detailed enquiries.

Step 2

Site visit

Usually, all tree works will require a site visit, whilst stump grinding can sometimes be quoted via picture sent to WA or Email.
We’ll arrange a time and date that’s convenient for all parties involved for a site visit, where we can assess the works and discuss your requirements. There we can take further photographs, assess hazards and check potential issues such as access, TPOs/ conservation areas, bird nests, bat habitat and other ecological constraints.

At this stage we may recommend a tree survey, be it an AIA (Arboricultural impact assessment) or a Tree safety report, depending on the site or properties requirements. We do not undertake these reports in house due to a conflict of interest but we can recommend you various consultants for this step.

Step 3

Quotation

Once the site visit is complete, we’ll Email or post your quotation over to you for your review. -All our quotations are written, for clarity and peace of mind. You will also have access to our terms and conditions and a copy of any relevant documents that you have requested.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I accept the quotation?

We will confirm that we have received your acceptance, then offer some suitable dates for the works to commence, (subject to planning and ecological restrictions) if there are PS we can apply on your behalf.

When do you start the works?

First any ecological and legislative constraints need to be considered. (For example, we would not like to remove a thick hedge in the middle of nesting season). We will agree with you a start date and approximate start time.

How do I pay?

Firstly, we do not accept payment upfront. Once the works are completed, we will send an invoice via email or post. On the invoice are our company banking details, you can transfer payment or pay cash – there is not ‘Cash discount’ -you will receive an invoice either way. We do not accept cheque.
